The application process requires:

Step 2: Family Interview

After all application materials have been received, we will schedule a family interview with the student and parent(s). You will meet the Headmaster and have the opportunity to ask all your questions.

Step 3: Enroll

Families who have submitted priority admissions applications (complete and submitted on or before December 15, 2026) will be notified of our admissions decision by the last week of January, 2027. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required within seven (7) days of acceptance of admission to enroll. Families who receive priority admission and enroll before the 7-day deadline will receive a $550 credit for books and supplies for the 2027-28 school year.

Families who submit applications December 16 or later will be notified of admission on a rolling basis (usually within 4 weeks of submission of completed applications). Once admitted, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required within seven (7) days of acceptance of admission to enroll.

According to Catholic scholar and writer Stratford Caldecott, G.K. Chesterton understood deeply that “human flourishing is found in families, human wholeness in holiness.”

Because families are the foundation of a flourishing culture, we seek applicants and their families who enthusiastically embrace the adventure of a life lived in truth—not only for their own benefit, but for the benefit of everyone at Chesterton Academy of Ave Maria—thereby creating a community made up of joyful and encouraging members that are certain that each of us can, and is meant to, be a saint. With this aim in mind, our admissions process includes a family interview as well as a review of an applicant’s other qualities and abilities and does not focus solely on student achievement.

Discover Chesterton at Odyssey Night!

Embrace the journey. . .

The Iliad is only great because all life is a battle, the Odyssey because all life is a journey, and the Book of Job because all life is a riddle.
-G.K. Chesterton

We invite prospective parents and students in grades 8 - 11 to discover Chesterton at our Odyssey Night, Monday, November 9, 2026 from 6 - 8 pm!

Odyssey Night will bring families and students together to meet the Headmaster, learn about our curriculum and offerings, enjoy snacks and drinks, and ask as many questions as desired! Students will also enjoy outdoor game time—comfortable clothes and shoes recommended. We will meet in the private dining room of the Bob Thomas Student Union building on the Ave Maria University Campus (see Building 1 on the AMU campus map).
